About Us
A long history, a fresh approachWe were founded in the 1960s and for nearly 40 years were the in-house training services division of ICL and latterly Fujitsu. We have been independent since 2002 and are now operating as an independent limited company, owned by Root Capital, a niche private equity house (http://www.rootcapital.co.uk). KnowledgePool Group Limited is now a profitable, cash generative company with strong backing from Root who have solid, long term investment plans to turn the company into a £100m turnover specialist BPO company. Since 2002, KnowledgePool has changed dramatically. Although we retain much of the experience gained over 40 years, we no longer own any delivery infrastructure. Instead we employ a highly professional team of experts including consultants, designers, supplier managers, administrators, technologists and project managers - all with a learning background. In this way we can source and resource all your learning and development needs. |

We employ a core team of learning experts with a wealth of experience in consultancy, supplier management and project management covering all forms of learning and all subject areas. Our managed service is underpinned by our proprietary leading edge technology platform which combines the functionality of a learning management system, a training booking portal and a workflow automation tool.
Our experience of designing and managing the delivery of bespoke training programmes is second to none. Well over 200 organisations have outsourced the management of their training programmes to KnowledgePool, including some of the largest training programmes in Europe. We continue to deliver innovative training programmes to tens of thousands of staff each year, using the latest blended learning approaches.
